This is the easiest thing to make with a crockpot: Beer Roast.
Take a regular beef roast, put it in the crockpot and dump a bottle of beer on it ("medium" colored beer works best, don't use something like Corona). Add some steak spice and leave it be. When it gets tender, pull it apart with a fork and leave it until the beer is mostly soaked up by the meat.
Slap it on a bun, add some BBQ sauce or cheese to taste, and enjoy!

take a beef brisket and put it in the crock pot on high. Add a jar of BBQ sauce ( whatever flavor you like. We like the honey ones) and let it simmer all day. After 6 to 8 hours, shred the beef with a fork and make BBQ shredded beef sandwiches. Yum.
or
take a lb or 2 of boneless skinless chicken brests. add 1 large jar salsa ( mild, med or hot, whichever you like)
and add a can of mexican corn or regular yellow corn ( drained) and simmer all day, shred and serve like fajitas with chesse and sour cream.
or
a lb or 2 of beef for stew ( I cut up insmaller pieces than the store)
3 or 4 diced, peeled potatos
1 pkg onion/ mushroom soup mix
1 can peas, drained
1 can carrots drained
1 can diced canned tomotaoes.
Dump it all in the crock and let simmer 6 to 8 hours until beef is tender. I usually also add a big squit or 2 of ketchup and mix it in. Ketchup has good flavorings in it. You may need to add some more of a second package of the onlion soup mix if it is bland, but go easy because it can get too salty.

2 of our favorites are bean soup and chili.
For the bean soup you just soak the beans overnight in water, then rinse and sort them. Here's the recipe I use for our bean soup, but if you use pork you can substitute the turkey sausage with ham.
One package butterball smoked suasage, diced
3 cans chicken broth, 1 can water
1 onion cut however you'd like
salt and pepper to taste
in the crockpot add the beans, broth, water and onion. put on high, let cook for 6-8 hours
Chili
1 Lb ground beef
2 cans of your favorite chili beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can stewed whole tomatoes
2 C green pepper cubed
2 cans tomatoe sauce
fry beef just long enough to crumble, so that it will stay seperated. Add all ingredients in crock pot, cook on high 6-8 hours.
