Seriously, I am a University Nutrition Student and the latest studies indicate that while sunflower and safflower oils are terrific, olive oil and canola reign supreme with canola oil leading slightly (it has linolenic acid that cannot be found in any other oil) you can use them interchangeably. When you go to choose margarine vs butter, know that many of the non-hydrogentaed margarines use palm oil, so while you don't have the trans fats (very bad for you!) you are still getting saturated fat from the palm oil. Go with what taste you prefer, and keep the tasting to a minimum for maximum health benefits.
Stay away from coconut and palm oils - they are the most saturated.
Good luck

Never, ever cook with oil that says "vegetable." That is just a recipe for disaster. There are only two safe oils. The first is olive oil, especially extra virgin. This can be used for any type of cooking. However, for baking desserts, or if you just don't feel like an olive taste that day in your food, use Mazzola Canola oil. Unless you use one of the two mentioned above, you are putting yourself at risk for major heart disease.

is dependent upon what I am making. Oil is oil calorie and fats intelligent despite the fact that olive is more healthy. Some meals style horrible whilst olive oil is used and that's above all real of candy baked merchandise or pancakes. I do not desire olive oil style then, I desire impartial. I do not use olive oil for frying both as it sort of feels to style bizarre if it will get slightly too scorching. I have each in my cabinet as do so much chefs. Gives me extra versatility and a much wider variety of flavors to paintings with.

Olive oil is far superior than any other oil for overall health. There is a large amount of research regarding fats derived from olive and avocado. Studies have concluded that the health benefits of olive oil can lower the risk of coronary heart disease by reducing blood cholesterol levels. According to one study, your risk of a fatal heart attack is cut in half in about 2 years once you switch to a Mediterranean diet which includes using olive oil as your main source of dietary fat.

That depends on what you want to spend. Olive oil is good but as far as the cheap ones go (around $2) canola is the healthiest.

Both are good for you, each fruit/vegetable has different vitamins. And so as more variety, as better. Vegetables have generally less sugar than fruits.

Don't listen to these idiots. If you want to cook healthy you need to use organic, natural product. These synthesized, chemicalized, commercialized products are causing heart attacks, cancer and obesiety. Cook with LARD, good old fashion pig fat, taste great and is less filling.
