I was looking at two LCD HDTV's. The Samsung - 26" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HDTV LN-S2641D and the Sony - BRAVIA 26" Flat-Panel LCD HDTV KDL-26S2000. Which one is better and why?

Definitely the Samsung. It has a better contrast ratio and more hi-def inputs.

Panasonic Viera Range of LCD's are far superior!
Not only do you get 2 HDMI Inputs, but the set comes with at least 5 years technology built in!!

I own 2 of the 32 Inch LCD TVs and am very happy with their Performance and brilliant resolution of color and clarity!

I hope you can view these sets in person before you buy. From
my experience, I prefer the Sony's picture. How realistic the
picture looks speaks volumes over mere specification numbers.
