AHH I'm so sorry I keep posting the same question but when it comes to my hair I need lots of others opinions. I did take everyones answers into consideration from the last post.

Okay, Here is what I look like now:

and here is what I'm CONSIDERING doing with my hair:

Opinions from both guys & girls would be appreciated. If you like the dark hair alone better, just say so! Please be honest.

I think black is cool. It goes well with your skin tone. But I'm biased because I don't like blondish hair.

I say go for it. I am a color it pro... My natural hair color is medium brown but I've done everything from fire engine red to chestnut and mixtures of it all. It's hair honey you can always dye it again or grow it out. Just as an FYI, the growing it out is hard, and the Highlights take maintenance.
1. Find a good stylist. TRUST is key.
2. Once the trust is established - remember they know what they are doing!!!
3. Be daring... you'll love yourself for it and even come to crave the change.

Good Coloring!!!

That is a cool look. It is hard on your hair however. It looks like your hair is pretty much naturally straight, so that is a bonus for you. I would tell you not to do it if you had to run a flat iron through it every day.
I have a suggestion! Have your hairstylist do these streaks so that they are not showing from the scalp...just underneath. These are called Peek-a-boo high lights. That way you have less re-growth to deal with.

Have fun with it!!!

Honest, as requested:

The blonde streaks are trashy -- very trashy. Stripper trashy. I heartily concur with "don't mess with perfection."

If you did it and didn't like it, you'd probably end up dying all your hair to go back, and that might end up a bit of a mess. Colour fades, and you'd end up with a bit of a demarcation line and have to wait an awfully long time to get completely back to what you have now, which is more than fine. Just leave it. Long, dark, shiny hair is a good look by itself. (Apart from trashy, the streaks would be, and would say, "high maintenance.")

Ok...not gay here or nothing but you are a beautiful girl. LOL I have my whites and greys sprouting out now and have to color my hair. I mean Im 33 years old and not about to have a 60 year old womans head. If I had your hair Id be one happy critter. Its so shiny and healthy looking. I hope you dont color your hair that way but put in the hair pieces. But if you ask me I think your hair looks great the way it is. DONT CHANGE A THING in my opinion!

I think your hair looks great the way it is, but I also like the chunky blonde stripes. If you're worried that it's too extreme, you could get brown highlights put in.

Also, a lot of stores sell clip-in hair pieces, so you can check out what it would look like before you actually dye your hair.

You have beautiful hair and it looks healthy too. Why would you want to put chemicals on it and spoil it. Your have a pretty face that your dark hair shows it off nicely. Keep the color that you have. Your are beautiful.

Your hair is so beautiful!! I do like the new style you're considering, but not so much for you because you have gorgeous, glossy hair that girls pay to get! So my vote is keep it the way it is.

I think the second look is starting to go out of style - it's been done too much now. Your hair is beautiful the way it is :-)

Don't do it! Your hair is beautiful the way it is now. Dark hair like yours with no highlights is totally hot for fall/winter this year!!
