I'm thinking to get my nephew a birthday present. something which is fun to play with but at the same time encourages him to be more active. if possible, educational, too. what's your child's favourite toy? if you don't know the name or brand, descriptions will be really helpful, too.
any idea will be appreciated. many thanks!!

My children like a game called dice doodle.
You have several chances to roll the dice and make different
things that are on the cards layed out. And another is called
Toot and Otto. It's like connect for and it's really callenging
because it gets confusing as there are only 2 letters.

There are some really good games out now that use a floor mat to do dance moves (or karate, or completing some video game task). Kids can play alone. Combines the concepts of video games they love with exercise. Dance Dance Revolution for X Box is one. The more moves he succeeds at, the higher the score.

I know that this christmas, they have a new twister dance game out. That would encourage him to get moving, also would help with coordination and listening. I also know that some of the Cranium games are pretty good. Our kids have Cranium Hullabaloo, and it is probably one of the best games I ever bought. It combines listening skills, color and shape recognition along with physical activity. They have games for all ages. Check them out.
