I am alittle amused that you would ask such a question. Pregnancy is like a rollercoaster and right now at 37 weeks, you are at a down spot. The baby is really feeding off of you. All of the extra weight is putting a strain on both you and baby! Just imagine your baby is in that little area and practically no where to turn and he/she is still growing! You are just gonna have to take it easy until the baby says, " Okay mom, let's go do this!" You don't have too much longer to go, why think about energy.....think about rest my dear, rest! Your family should be helping you out alot and getting you ready for your new little one anyway! Take it easy and I wish you a very easy labor!

At 37 weeks, you deserve the right to rest. So rest and let the man of the house take over the domestic responsibilities.
If you can go for walks without discomfort, walking helps perk up your energy and drinking water - however that also makes you go to the bathroom even more.
Just realize once the baby comes, the last thing you will be doing is resting. Appreciate it now.

Flip on the light switch?
Okay, seriously. There's not a whole lot to do but wait for baby to decide it's time. Meanwhile, the best "all day" energy giver that I know of is a gentle massage from a loved one the night before.
The best DIY yourself (do it yourself) thing I can suggest for a near-term mom is a few funny video rentals that can get you -- pardon the pun-- to split your seams laughter.
Laughter really is the best medicine right now. You'll feel better after even a few moments of laughter during the heavy- wait.
Good luck with labor/delivery and being a new mom.

I remember being as pregnant as you, and your not going to like this, but you won't have alot of energy for awhile. After you have the baby your still going to feel drained. Especially right after the baby is born from all that pushing. When you get adjusted to your new schedule with the baby then you will have more energy, I did. Good luck hun, hang on!

It's time to rest and get ready for baby.
When you feel another burst of energy, that will be nesting instinct taking over. If you're scrubbing the toilets at 3:00 a.m., the baby will come soon! LOL!
I agree on eating more protein. Protein shakes are also great.

good luck on that one...but eat more things with protein...take naps as often as you can...you are going to need it...your body is supporting this little life form and needs lots of rest the next few weeks...after you have the baby, be prepared to not have a decent nights sleep for a long time

Dear, you are about to have the baby at this point. Motherhood is exhausting. If you think pregnancy is, wait until you have a wailing baby! You "ain't" seen "nothin' " yet!
