Newark will give you cheaper rent, but Jersey City will give you a better quality of life. Jersey City is really developing into a great place to live. There are a lot of new restaurants and bars there. Some say it is becoming a new Hoboken. Easy access to the city from both places.

1. I love to wear my teams jersey wherever I go because I have no shame and my team is EVERYWHERE anyways. 2. Probably the Mariners. The Rays are having a little trouble right now. 3. My team is the Bosox, and they had a double header today. They won the first game 10-1, and as of 9:56 PM EST, they are winning 7-3 in the second game.

It depends on what you're looking for. Jersey City is closer to NYC, but you'll get more bang for your buck living in Newark.
