Is it just me or does everybody else get upset when you cant read emails at work because the email are blocked? This really sucks

As a business owner I want you to do the work I you paid to do. I do not want you to spent your day wasting my money reading personal e-mails. Do your job - punch out- go home - read your personal e-mails on your time, on your internet connection that you pay for...
The reason some companies (like mine) have block e-mails is because SOME employees abused the privilege. I accually blocked all internet connections exept where needed to perform your job fuction.

Weird, never heard of blocked emails before.
Oh, you mean blocked sites... like Yahoo! mail.... I have that at my work too, yeah it sucks. It saves me time though since I can't check all of my email accounts at work, ha ha.

if you worked for me and was reading your email i would kick your but out of the door ..your being paid to work 8 hrs and if i even thought you griped about it you would be fired

I know exactly what you mean. Everything on my computer here is blocked! Our company is so protective of what we do on the internet. My god it gets so boring here sometimes!
