we busted a small plastic hose in a 1989 ford taurus it connects to a small metal thing that looks a little like a filter what is this part called so i can get the dumb thing fixed?

I don't know,you don't really describe it very well, does it go to the charcoal canister? fuel tank?Sounds like the fuel line itself. Take it to the dealer there is a connector repair kit

Fuel line connects to the fuel filter.

How about the hi pressure fuel line. Probably expensive

That would be the fuel line which is connected to the fuel filter and/or fuel pump.

Fuel line. Im not sure of the make, but when I had a jeep, the transmission fuel line is under there too. Make sure you dont drive it until it is replaced.

Fuel line.Change the filter while you are at it.That's what it connects too.

it is in basic terms a rubber hose...visit junk backyard, salvage backyard, or motor vehicle section shop and ask for one, describe it to them, some even pop out and seem at this for then you definitely replace it. basic restoration
