You're obviously going about this the wrong way. If you put the fish fingers on their edges, you can fit 5 in comfortably.

The Bird's Eye battered fish fingers do come in packs of 8 and they are THE PERFECT fish finger for a sandwich.

Generally a box of 10 fishfingers is made for a family of four to have with chips and beans or peas.
It's based on the adults each having 3 fishfingers and the two children eating 2 fishfingers each.
That's why they're in packs of 10. I don't generally think the makers of the fishfingers have sandwiches in mind for their products.

I have the same problem. We are a family of 4, a 3 year old, 9 year old, the wife and myself. Two boxes and the oven trays over flowing, one box and were all hungry half an hour later!!! gggggggrrrrrr
