I am looking for some GHD straighteners but have only come across small and large ones. I am unsure on which to get as I find with larger straighteners it is harder to get to the top of the hair but I have thick hair so maybe large would be better overall. What does anyone recommend and does anyone know of anywhere which sells medium sizes GHD's. Website names would be very helpful.

Go for the large ones they strighten thick long hair better. but you shouldn't straighten your hair right from the top. to get the top stright use your hairdryer and point it down your hair from the roots. my hairdresser taught me to do this. it also stops them little frizzy bits getting out of hand!

Happy straightening :D

I have very thick, straight hair and the hairdresser always uses the large GHD's on my hair. I however have the thinner version and they work very well. Don't get the mini straighteners, but like me, why not get the thin version - you can also curl your hair with these if you are talented (I'm not).

The wide pair is for long thick hair.
The mini pair mainly 4 men and girls with short hair.
The medium pair is the original and the best size for people who have a fringe or shaping round the face or who like to get as close to the root as poss as they are easy to manage.
You can also make lovely curls and flicks with he med pair so I'd def go 4 those.
Check out their website

Hi Star you can get thin, medium and broad ones. I have the medium ones and they are great. If you ask your hair dressers its one the back of the box of them. I just phoned them up and used my credit card and they were delivered the next day
