7.5 to 9.5 hours of sleep are adequate. It is important to make sure that you sleep in a regular pattern, as in going to bed at a similar time every night. If you have trouble getting out of bed in the morning, you aren't getting enough sleep. Every human body needs a different amount of rest, just remember to keep it consistent!

For the average person 8 hours however it all really depends on what is possible and for some people their bodies adapt to more or less than 8 hours to be able to still fully function.

8 hours is usually the recommended amount of time but if you go out and part try to get at least 10 to 15 hours in of sleep time.

its always been 8 hours of sleep is enough...not too long ago i read an article saying that people now need 10 full hours to feel completely well and refreshed
