I'm the exact same height as you and I weight 115 lbs. But, I don't work out. I'm quite scrawny.

So, if you have nice muscular legs at 5'8"...you could easily be 135 lbs. Another consideration is the size of your frame. This is determined by your wrist size.

Here is everything you need to determine your healthy weight.

CALCULATE BMI = [weight / (height x height)] x 703

BMI CATEGORIES:
-- Underweight = 18 or less
-- Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
-- Overweight = 25-29.9
-- Obesity = 30 or greater

WOMEN’S WEIGHT CHART FOR
SMALL, MEDIUM & LARGE FRAME

5'8": (126-139) ** (136-150) ** (146-167)

DETERMINING FRAME SIZE: Measure wrist with a tape measure to nearest 0.25 inch.

HEIGHT 5'1" & SHORTER
-- Small = 5.5" or less
-- Medium = 5.5" to 5.75"
-- Large = 5.75" or more

HEIGHT 5'2" - 5' 5"
-- Small = 6" or less
-- Medium = 6" to 6.25"
-- Large = 6.25"or more

HEIGHT 5' 5" & TALLER
-- Small = 6.25" or less
-- Medium = 6.25" to 6.5"
-- Large = 6.5" or more

Hamwi Formula for Women
100 lbs for first 5 feet + 5 lbs for each inch over 5 feet (medium frame)
Small frame (- 10%), Large frame (+ 10%)

Hope that helps and here's link to measure exactly.

As long as you feel and look good don't get caught up on the height/weight ratio...
There are alot of other factors to consider -such as your frame and muscle mass.

Why do people keep asking this question? It's so variable. Ask your doctor - who has at least seen you.
