any of you did speed dating? my friend is telling me to go try one, but i m not sure. it seems a little bit odd to me....as i always wish my love happens in a natural way but not this kind of setting up..

Well, if you are meeting quality people the "natural" way then stick to it. But if you are not meeting anyone, then what's the harm in speed dating. It's really not much different than going to a party, except that you know everyone there is single, and there is a structured way to talk to everyone. Don't look at it as dating. Just look at it as another way to meet people. I believe that meeting the right person is a numbers game. The more people you meet, the more likely you are to find the right one. By the way, I met my wife speed dating, and I never would have met her through my normal routine.

I say no to speed dating cause lets say that you find some one there that you like and then your 3 mins is up and he has to go to another woman, then another, and say 5 women likes him to, dont you think he will be talking to you and the other 5. Dont rush love, let it come to you.

Be open to trying something new! It may make you feel uncomfortable, but that's ok. Who says you're going to find true love there? You probably won't, but you can enjoy the experience, and get to know a few people in the process.

it's just a way to have a brief introduction to a few people.
you could look upon it as a way to meet friends, the spark of romance could come later.
