I know I will need to eat a bit more than the actual amount patients eat after that surgery, but if I follow that eating plan, would it be okay? I seriously seem to have this PROBLEM in my brain where I think it's not really gonna matter if I eat (Fill in the blank). I KNOW what I need to do to lose weight, yet I can't follow through with it. Every bite does count, doesn't it? It's really all in the calorie intake, itsn't it? I know exersice is important, and I walk and lift dumbells, but it's the eating where my problem is. And although I DO NOT eat ALOT, obviously it's the choices I'm making. Please help, just give me your thoughts, opinions, experience. . .I feel like I need some kind of advice I am missing and it's the missing link. . .

first off you need to make sure your getting mass amount of protien in whatever your eating... Protein helps you feel "full" i know i have that problem to where i am just hungry all the time no matter if i ate 300 lbs of noodles... but i just know i cant eat like that and i just deal with being hungry and chew gum.. I exercise daily and try to make it a fun "me" time of the day. Calories do count.. you dont need to eat a little you can eat whatevr just count your calories.. itss a *****, but if you hang a piece of paper on the fridge, write down the calories of everything you just ate. if you dont know, then google the calories on the net. and write them down, you will log it all right in front of your face. so once your total is 2000, you know you cant even eat that carrot stick and you just have to go to bed hungry.. It sucks *** or a week but your stomach will shrink and eventually you wont care you dont get the carrot stick... it worked for me anyways. There are many low calorie snacks and stuff out there, even the lean cuisine dinner thingies.. a lot have just around 200 calories , so look at it this way, you could eat 10 of those a day,,

But the thing about getting the WLS is that you are able to lose a lot of weight quickly in a short amount of time. And, you lose the sensation of hunger. During that window of quick weight loss, that is when you are to take advantage of the lack of hunger and you need to start over and relearn how to eat in healthy, to make good food choices.
So, eating as though you had the WLS, will help you lose weight, just not the same as if you had the surgery.
