whether it looks better depends on the girl's eye color, skin color, etc.
i think it definetely gets more attention from men.

People are genetically programmed to look for mates that are different in order to add variety to the gene pool. This variety helps eliminate genetic disorders and promotes natural selection. Blonde hair is a recessive trait, so most guys find it attractive. Red is even more rare.
If you want blonde hair, don't make it look fake. I think blonde jokes come from the fact that people who dye their hair blonde often try too hard to stand out, and they often look silly in the process.
Ignore what everyone says and do what's best for YOU. Some people look unquestionably better with brown hair. Some look better with blonde hair. Some look good with red hair. Do what works for YOU.

To me "guys" means you want a response from all genders.
Blonde hair has nothing to do with stupidity, however men have the idea that all blondes are like Marilyn Monroe and most men enjoy entertainment so to them although they laugh, they do like blondes. It's a male ego thing.
To enhance yourself and your chances, go blonde.
Some women go blonde because they have complimentary skin color for that shade. Living in some areas of the country makes a blonde more attractive.
If you're still in school, keep your brown hair.

I sure don't think it makes a lady look stupid, I really do not have a preference on hair color. I notice the girl first and check the other later. Some of my best female freinds are true blonds and some not so true, all great gals.
