I am an eclectic pagan. I have no need for a "lord", although I do have an affinity for the goddess Bast.

Peace

I am a pentecostal. That does't mean anyhting though because all christians serve the same God, just differently. My Faith is more outgoing in the way we worship and pray and preach, ect.Thats all pentecostal means. My religion is technically southern baptist, thats what I was raised with.At 18 I stopped going to church because I have come to the conclusion that organized religion is the biggest threat the world has ever known.
I call God, God and his Son, Christ or Jesus. I still believe in the basic truths of the Bible, but believe that no one religion fits everyone.

I am in a moment of expirencing different religions, it is hard for me to convert to just one when so many are religions are there. I was raised Southern Baptist, but married a Jehovah Witness, now I am interested in Buddhism, Wicca, I am looking deeper into myself and who I am as an individual and my soul then trying to appear superficial and somebody I am not.

The Lords name is Jesus Christ, or Yeshua. I am a full gospel, Bible believisng Christian. I believe in all of the Bible, not just bits and pieces that I choose and dont choose to obey. I have personaly had so many experience with the Lord that I would not know where to begin. But I will list one. As my first born son was dying of cancer at the age of 10 in 1976, I was told by his doctors that he would die a long slow very painful death, that not even drugs could alleviate the pain, that he would be put in a dark room as the lights would hurt so much more badly. I was told he would scream in pain and there would be little they could do. I had strong faith, and I didnt know why God was taking my son. Tho later I did. But, I went home and I prayed and prayed. I had another little boy at home, gae 8, and it was all becoming almost too much for me. I told God in prayer that He told us He wont give us more than we can handle, and I wasnt handling this well. I asked that my son have no pain. I can only say this, I felt Jesus enter the room, tho I could not see HIM< I felt His incredible presence. Peace and joy and love fell all over me, I could feel his hands on my hands. It was totally a touch of love. I said Jesus if this is you, hold me hands tightly closed so I cant open, cuz I know its you. Sudden a gentle pressure what put on my hands, I could feel each of Jesus' fingers and I could not open my hands. I just said thank you Lord for hearing me and I KNOW my son wont have pain. Two brain surguries later, and a year of in and out of the hospital, and this child never even took an asprin. no pain. didnt swell up and looking blusish in color after surgury as was predicted. It took close to a year for him to actually die, but he stayed joyful and free of pain till the end, and God got me thru it with peace. Now this is just one thing I could tell you. Over the course of a lifetime, there have been many. Study all of the Bible, not just parts. Pray. ask God to reveal things to you. and He will. Know what He says so you can obey. Obedience brings blessing, disobedience brings curse. How can we not what to do and not do if we dont KNOW HIS WORD? Call on the Lord's name at any time and KNOW HE is there. You are never alone. He loves you, and longs to give you every good gift He has for you. Ask for them. we receive not, cuz we ask not. He loves us all just the same. Its not about religion. Its about knowing God and all of HIS word. But He tells us there is no other way but thru Jesus to receive salvation. so, anyone that tells you you can go another route just doesnt know God yet, maybe you can teach them. God bless all who answer this, and the person that asked the question. I look forward to the responses. Tho I see many in this Christian section answer with silliness and acutlally blaspheme God by their sarcasm and put downs of other people. Thats not God, and to those people, simply hit delete and move on. Lets here from those who truly know and love the Lord. Lets all get together and speak truth to a world that doesnt all know HIM. Press on together Christians, of all faiths, those that truly know and love the LORD.

Christian, my experiences with the Lord have been fruitful and full of joy. Without him I am nothing. My experiences have been absolutely wonderful. I have been to very low points of my life, and wouldn't have gotten out of the trenches without Him. This is why I'm a Christian, not for the hatred of others, but for the fact of service to show thankfulness for saving my life when I could have very easily ended it.
