Which is better homemade chocolate cupcakes or the kind you buy at the store?

It definately depends,

If you know what you are doing and dont completely ruin them then yeah go with homemade.

But if you are not the domestic type and there is a chance your homemade cupcakes will taste fowl go with the store bought and play them off as home made.

It totally depends on who's making them at home (are they a good baker?), and what kind of store you go to (cupcakes from bakeries generally being better than those bought in a grocery store).

And, of course, there's something to be said for the thought being what counts. Someone close to you might appreciate any effort you put into making homemade cupcakes for them - regardless of the results - than taking the easy way out and buying them.

The ones you make at home are much better. I'm not even talking about from scratch. Betty Crocker has some really good cake mixes in the box.Just add eggs,oil and water.Then buy the frosting in the container.These are very good and easy to make.Have you read the ingredients on those store bought cupcakes?? Yuck!! Make your own.If you don't have a muffin pan just make a cake.

I don't like chocolate - so I'd say neither...but as for cupcakes home-made or cupcakes from a bakery?...I must say that often times I like the bakery versions better. White frosting and white or yellow cake though (for me)

if its for your love ones. be sure its home made.
if its for friends that aint close, i will buy. what for put in the effort even of i bake all the time.
