1.) In this forum, the anti-illegal and pro-illegal groups are so clearly divided, yet when it come down to it everybody wants the same thing, for everyone to be here legally and paying taxes.
2.) If what everyone wanted was realized, to have all illegals do it the legal way, we would not have less immigrants here, they would just be here legally!!!
3.) Believe it or not, if illegals thought it was so easy to be here legally, even knowing that they would be paying taxes like everyone else and having to work like everyone else, theyd do it in a hurry if the process wasnt so long. But I guess its just easy for us to say since we were lucky enough to have been born here right??!!

Without ILLEGAL immigration...
1) The US Health care system would not be in a shambles.
2) The raise in diseases such as TB would not be on the rise
3) The economy of the US would be much better.

1. Illegal immigrants have the misguided conception that the USA can't survive without them. The USA never has, and never will rely on illegal, ignorant uneducated people to keep it's economy afloat.
2. Illegal immigrants have been able to use taxpaid services which were set aside for citizens when they fell on hard times. It is THIS abuse by illegal immigrants who have not paid their dues that is hurting the USA economy.
3. Hispanics (ESPECIALLY Mexican) want to take over the Southwest through "La Reconquista", claiming the USA 'stole' that land. Seeing the protests and their outrageous claims, demanding we change our laws for them made me realize this is much, much more than "poor people trying to make a better life for their families". It is a slow infiltration into our communities and cities to drain us of our tax paid services, take our jobs that lower skilled Americans have the need for, depressing our wages from the field workers up to ever higher skilled jobs. Creating a situation that brings Americans down to their 3rd world standards. Americans worked hard to get their wages up to a livable level. Americans will do those jobs, for a decent wage that keeps them OFF welfare, they pay taxes and put that earned money back into the revenue of the USA by consuming goods IN the USA, Illegals send their money OUT of the USA, suck up welfare and work for slave wages.
I could go on and on, but you only asked for 3.

I have learned a few things from reading the Y.A. immigration debate. I have changed how I think about it but mainly, I've discovered this
1. US citizens are truly pissed.
2. Latino immigrants are truly arrogant.
3. It's a vicious cycle and there might be some violence involved before this is over.

1. Undocumented workers drive wages downward.
2. They cost the school system and county health care system.
3. They do in fact help the economy in several ways (social security for one). That needs to be balanced against cost for a real debate to occur.
