It means he wants to make sure everything works out fine. Such as, families like one another, people get along, there's happiness, you treat his daughter nicely etc.
He's got the feeling you're the one and he's going to make sure of it by "double-checking".

Well it could mean alot of things like i really think you are the one or im playing you for now or i really think you are the one for me but i have to make sure your going to be right for my family too. Just keep an open mind and try to take it slow even though some relationships are hard to take slow.

He may feel that the connection is so strong, but then again he may be the type that has to gets his families opinion before committing.

its to soon for him to say something like that. Dont know his age or personality? He could mean it or use it to get into your pants....that type you must be weary off! Good relationships built over time...give at least 6-12months...should he get agrivated...he sure wnats some //';//;. so then...tell him to bugger off!!!
