Here are some websites for you to try:

http://www.studentawards.com/

http://scholarships.fatomei.com/college.html

Also, look on your college website for local scholarships or grants in your field of study. The sooner you apply, the greater your chances of getting a scholarship or grant. Don't forget the Federal government for PELL grants based upon your financial needs. They don't have to be repaid. Good Luck.

Try fastweb.com for general scholarships and grants. Other than that, check the school website of the school you are thinking of attending. They may have some in-school scholarships. If you're interested in a certain field, find big name companies to see if they offer scholarships or go to the College of ... within the school to see if they have anything. For example, if you want to go into Int'l Business at UM then go to the UM website and into the College of Business.

There are many great websites to search for college scholarships for high school seniors. Also, there are two offline places.

First, check your high school guidance office. They have a list of local scholarships offered to high school students attending your high school.

Second, the college financial aid website and office has a list of private scholarships offered by companies and organizations.

Third, Yahoo.com and Google.com are excellent sources for searching for scholarships based on ethnicity, racial, religious, and college majors.

Fourth, 35 states offer a website for applying for college admission and state financial aid. It can be located by using Google.com and Yahoo.com.

Finally, there are many free membership scholarship search websites. Most are updated on a regular basis. I recommend registering for more than one because a scholarship might be listed with one search website, but it may not be listed with another.

Good luck!

The first website you should visit is www.fafsa.gov
It is the basic federal program for eligible students to obtain PELL and other grants. Fill out an application and good luck, but be sure to do it early!
