If it's only been happening since you became pregnant, it certainly could be related to that - pregnancy can cause temporary circulation problems (although 8 weeks seems a bit early for that to be the cause). Otherwise, it could be Raynaud's. You can have a blood test to check for it. If it's confirmed as Raynaud's, you'll probably just be advised to keep your fingers and toes warm (self-heating hot packs are good) and get regular exercise to improve circulation - obviously being careful while pregnant.

Did this condition start when you became pregnant? If so, that might be a pretty strong indicator that the two things are related. Pretty much any bizarre health condition you can think of can be a side effect of pregnancy. Runny nose? Check. Permanent indigestion? Check.
However, it's definitely something to bring up with your doctor or on-call advice nurse. Sometimes the causes of toe numbness are pretty benign, as with a temporary carpal-tunnel like condition brought on by one's changing weight and posture near the end of pregnancy. But other causes aren't so benign - diabetes, a pinched nerve, spinal arthritis.
The fact that this is happening when your pregnancy isn't very advanced is a little concerning. So yeah, please do bring it up with your doctor just to be safe.
Good luck, and congratulations on your pregnancy!

I also had this problem when I was pregnant. It is from poor circulation.I also would get severe sudden charlie horses in my calves and the bottom of my feet. So glad that's over. You can help it by wiggling you toes while you lay down. They also sell these devises that look like little socks that you put on and it pumps and releases almost like the band that they check your blood pressure with. This helps to keep your circulation going. Good Luck.

IT could be just a pinched nerve. You will experience more numbness throughout your pregnancy. If your worried it doesnt hurt to go talk to your doctor. Dont go to a chiropractor without your doctors permission first. You could just be putting some pressure on some nerves laying a certain way. At times when im sitting my feet go numb, and its just from the way im sitting. Good Luck to you!

Yes, being pregnant can have a lot to do with it. I strongly recommend going to a chiropractor. I was very skeptical at first when I was pregnant with my daughter, but my uncle, who is a chiropractor, said that they can adjust pregnant women. He also said that it helps with a faster delivery. So I went and continued to go and I still go. It helps to put all of your bones back into alignment and in turn, makes the rest of your body work like it needs to. When I had my son, I had him an hour after my water broke. Talk about fast.
