I dont know hun, but I am too. And when you figure it out maybe you could let me know.
The only guess I have at the moment is that even with all this, we are still missing something that lingers in the background. Perhaps it's a problem that we haven't dealt with.. or maybe it's a need for the reassurance that there is something more. (Spiritual)
I know Im missing having a bf. I have a great job. I have a great apt that I have decorated soo nice. I have family. And friends. I have a wonderful 7 mo old son. Im healthy. I have some money. But Im gloomy. :(
Good luck! And just know that you aren't alone hun.

Why not try a personal coach, or a counsellor or psychologist? (Or preferably someone who is qualified as all three.) You could talk through some of your issues - positive and negative and attempt to sort out what's going on.
The sadness maybe due to something that happened a long time ago, possibly in your early childhood and something of which you are unaware is triggering it, making you feel miserable. It's obviously not a good state to be in, possibly depression, so find someone well-qualified to help you. Good luck. RJS

Because of the longing for God?
"Dorul de Dumnezeu" in the words of the much regretted theologian Dumitru Staniloaie.
Your relationship with God seems to be the only thing missing in your life, and many people feel this as an unexplained sadness.

Because you are not happy. Give of your self to someone who is less well off than yoou. Volunteer at a charity and witness how people can barely cope with life's pressures. This will open your eyes and offer you some options.

maybe that now you've achieved all these things, which generally constitute a "happy" life, you don't have any more goals or aims to strive for? you don't say how old you are, but maybe it's a kind of midlife crisis? hope you start feeling better soon.. try doing something completely different and new... volunteer for a charity or so.

You might be depressed. There are two types of depression. Mental and Physical. I myself was physically depressed two years ago. Same situation as yourself. My cunning Dr. figured it out and put me on meds for a year and I was amazed at how the sadness lifted and the energy returned. Sometimes we give more than we have to give and our bodies just give out.

You feel emptiness in your life. All those "seem to be complete" things around you are not what you are looking for.
You need to find something in life that can fulfill your emptiness.
Perhaps, religion or Jesus Christ will fulfill your emptiness if you are willing to be a believer.

The best way to deal with it is to help other people. Like, volunteer at a hospital or Salvation Army, etc. That will help you put things into perspective.

because all these external things do not create happiness...you have to find meaning in life...most people do what you do...and ask the same thing...why am I not happy?...if you really want to find some meaning, go out there and make a difference...connect w/ people...people in your community...people abroad...step outside yourself and consider someone else...after all...what good is anyone who's only willing to help themselves?...truly that person can't be happy...gl...
