There were no 'race' distinctions about dating or marrying in the Bible. However, there were 'religious' distinctions. God didn't want his people to marry someone who believed in a different god than Him. The Israelites were commanded not to marry a non-Israelite because of the tendency to convert to another's religious beliefs and practices (the Israelite would convert, not the other way around). A lot of people always thought this meant that interracial marrying was wrong, but that wasn't the case. It just so happened that in Bible times, people weren't spread out over the world as they are now, i.e. people of African descent lived in Africa, people of Asian descent lived in Asia, etc. etc., and all these people had different religious beliefs, and few of them believed in the same God as the Israelites. That is why many people interpreted it to mean race instead of what it really was about: religious beliefs.

It depends on one important aspect of your christian beliefs. Were you taught to only follow the teachings of the old testament, because the new testament breaks away from alot of the laws established and enforced by the church leaders. Jesus changed alot of things regarding the Law established in the Old Testament. We are living in the time of Grace, which was established when Jesus died on the cross to pay for all our sins. There is no reason why we cannot fall in love with or marry with someone not of our own ethnic background...there is nothing to prohibit it. What the bible does warn us about is getting into a relationship with someone who has different religious beliefs, because it could create a dangerous situation in the relationship. Apart from that, there is nothing to stop you from falling in love with the person who makes your heart beat like a drum.
I hope it works out for you!
God Bless!

No. Not at all. As Christians, we should see each other as people, not as white people, black people, just as people. We are all created equally in God's eyes and we are to see through God's eyes of love at all times.

No, there's nothing wrong with that, if they are real Christians they will have some kind of understanding.

No. Biblical characters married/bred outside of their own ethnicities.
