I am not an ex-Mason, but an esoteric Mason. I doubt that if I told you the secret you would really comprehend it in fullness. Not meant as an insult but the mind does need preparation. Why do you think there are degrees and such time between degrees? I am not writing here of the degrees that one now sees done on stage in a weekend. Hardly. In my Order it takes an Entered Apprentice at least five months of intensive study and strict examination to be ready for Fellowcraft. Then once in Fellowcraft, well, the study is much longer before the Brother (and here I use that word to describe both men and women - we admit both) is ready to be Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master. And that is just Blue Lodge. There are other degrees.

So, you wish a Yahoo board to give you some quick answer like driving through a McDonald's? OK, ready to catch it?

We change lead into gold. Wait, that is a metaphor. We are talking about the human heart here.

Intrigued? Not all Freemasonry is just about Fellowship and Charitable acts; although all Freemasonry includes them.

They aren't going to tell you anything. Most of the masons out there don't know what it is all about.

Good luck getting a mason to talk. My grandpa was one and he took it to the grave baby!
