Perhaps he has a little problem with clarity.

More like He does not exist. The Christian faith, and all other magical belief systems, was fabricated to give an easy living to some sort of brotherhood, be they priests or rabbis or any similarly contrived profession whose "work" consists of doing little more than saying words that serve to reinforce belief in the faith.

The Protestant denominations reflect the inability of certain Christians to organize to a sufficient degree to squash political dissension. That's the cause of religious factionalism, at its base. The political motives come first, and differences of religious doctrine arise afterward as a pretext to justify the power struggles.

In the corporate world, you'd call it "empire building." In the religious world, you call it a schism or a heresy or a denominational split. It's more or less the same thing.

God is not to blame for the different denominations. Man is. For example, some believe the Bible teaches the immortality of the human soul . But the Bible clearly shows that man's soul CAN die. Ez.18:4 20. Some believe that Christians can go to war. But the Bible teaches at John13:34, 35 that love is an identifying mark of true Christianity. Some believe Jesus is God even though the Bible clearly shows that Jesus is the son of God. John 10:36. So God is not to blame for the diversity of beliefs. In fact, Gal.5:20 calls sects or denominations one of the works of the flesh. God doesn't have a problem with clarity; those who deviate from the Bible are the ones with the problem.

The breaking up of Christ's Church into the various denominations was Satan's greatest victory. But even that has been used by God to provide people with different approaches to Him, all through our Lord Jesus. There are No cookie cutter Christians in Heaven!!!

First let's get this clear. There is only one GOD!

Christians, Muslims, Buddist, Jews, no matter what denomination there is only one GOD.

GOD says I'm the first and the last, ALPHA and OMEGA.
Abraham was the father of many nations!

It is mankind that has created these different denominations, sects sub-cultures and what have yous.

It is the evil one the ruler of the air that's causing confusion

The same reason there are lots of parts of the body.

An ear does not operate the same way as an eye, or a foot, or a liver or kidney for that matter. They do not even have to agree as to how to do right.

If a part of one part of the body (EColi is a good bacteria within the rectal wall) finds itself at conflict with another part of the body (EColi is deadly in the mouth), then there can be conflict. Neither side is wrong, neither is better than the other. EColi is not bad, the mouth is not bad for considering it an enemy, and yet all of these parts are part of the body.

Doctrine and Covenants 132:8 Behold, mine house is a house of order, saith the Lord God, and not a house of confusion.

There is no confusion. There is only 1 true and authorized Church. If you ask God and receive your answer from Him, then you will know which one it is.

If people will rely on their own wisdom and build up churches unto themselves...well then they get what they get. God has no problem with clarity, but many people do.

Seek not to counsel your God, but to receive counsel from His hand.

He doesn't have a problem with clarity, we do. The reason there are so many different denominations is because we all have different ways of interpreting His word and the ways we pray, worship, ect.

God didn't create the confusion, MAN did! When Adam and Eve first realized they were naked, the Scripture says that "they sewed together fig leaves for a covering". Not realizing that BLOOD had to be shed to cover the introduction of sin made them wonder how they were going to "hide" this sin from God. Therefore the fig leaf coverings were symbolic of man's concept of religion, which is trying to justify himself with Biblical similitude through HIS OWN MEANS instead of repentance. The denominations were born from this same type of "personal theology".

Christianity sprang from Judiaism and the Catholic Church was created. Luther decided to break with the Pope, as did the English Royalty. These groups in turn further fractured under guidence from men. Don't blame God. Pick and Choose religion is not God's idea, its mans.

As christians we are told to beware of those who cause divisions in the church-

Romans 16:17
I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.

-Remember Satan is the prince of this world- and he twists scripture so that many will take it out of context- or make false doctrine of it.

1 Timothy 6:2-4
3If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions

--Satan will do whatever he can to keep people away from the TRUTH of God's word. That is why God tells us in Acts to "search the scriptures daily"
To stay on guard and to keep praying for the Holy Spirit to teach us.
We as believers are told:
1 Peter 5:8
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
