me too...ditto...I had clues, but it is now confirmed just how unstable religious people are...I will keep my doors tightly locked on halloween so they are free to roam and scare

Are we not brainwashed with all things in society or this world as a matter of fact, not just 'religion'. I would say so! Are we not dictated to by media, people, fashion, money, lifestyles, governments, material things such as the 'should haves' cars, houses, etc.
Trinny and Susanah in the UK dictate to people what they should or should not wear! Apparently, they are the height of fashion sense! They have programmes galore on television drumming into peoples heads that the way they dress and look is not right! Many people believe in them. Dear oh dear! We do have a choice though.

Well, it isn't saying much in favour of Atheism, that's where the bile and vituperative comments seem to come from. The Faiths seem to be getting on pretty well with each other, don't you think? Christians, Moslems, Sikhs, Hindus, Jews, Buddhists and others seem to have a respect for each other that Atheists don't seem to show. At least, going by the questions and answers in this forum.

But you have to participate and be the voice of reason. usually the ones who are wrong are the ones who shout the loudest.
This cannot go on. Reason must prevail, and if that means dealing with ignorant people in a sane manner, so be it.
Just keep the smile on your face. It makes bad news easier to take. And to ignorant people, the truth is bad news.

I think you may be right... a lot of people are way too stuck in their ways and refuse to accept other peoples beliefs/religions.
Everyone is different... if only muslims and christians would just accept that and stop feeling so targeted whenever someone doesn't agree with them!
