I got them since my skin peeled last year when i went for outward bound training. I have tried sun-tanning and anti-fungal cream but it does not work.
Now I am on anti-fungal tablets prescribed by doctor but it does not help too... Any advice? I found my condition got worse from using certain shower lotion. Is it possible?

I think you might be right about me getting pigment shock. :P
But I do remember that once the spots on my upper back disappear for a while after weeks of swimming under the sun and applying anti-fungal cream!

I hate to break it to you but unfortunately I think there is nothing you can do about these white spots.

Its a form of pigment shock. Your just plain out of pigment in those areas. If you stay out of the sun, and keep moisturized maybe eventually you will gain some pigement back.

I have the same thing. Sorry dear!!

I was using a white spot treatment in my tank when all my fish kept dying on me.....it was one of those multi remedy treatments. They still kept dying. The guy at my petshop said that if you are certain of the disease to buy the treatment specially for that disease as the multi remedy's are often diluted. If you treat your tank with the right stuff you should see results in a matter of hours. Guppies are pretty hardy little fish but they do suffer from stress. I wouldn't advise a complete clean out til she is looking better. But your tank definately needs one. 25% water changes always help.

Sounds like you ended up getting sun poisoning, not sunburned. Go back and talk with your doctor or set up an appointment with a dermatologist.

It will eventually get back to normal. Try aloe vera on your skin and cover the spots with makeup til it gets normal again.

A dermatologist or even a GP can zap them off with an electric device they have.
