why dont you stop sleeping with him for some time if he doesnot behave strangely then you can go ahead.but do it in a friendly way you can kiss touch him but never allow him to penetrate for some time when he is getting too arouse suck his dick to make him release or even not at all and then see what happens . if he gets annoyed then i guess he does not love you but want you for a sex machine
