I heard that it is the male of the species. It has to do with spreading his "seed" to create as many off-spring as possible. Females of the species are looking for the most virile, healthy males in order to produce the healthiest strongest off-spring. It was on one of those discovery channel shows. Not sure if I explained it right, but bottom line it sounded like it is the the genetics of being a male. I am not too sure if I agree that it is all genetic in some way. Cheating regardless of being male/female is a conscious choice and is wrong in my eyes. If you aren't happy in your current relationship then infidelity isn't going to improve it. Males maybe more likely, but I think females are better at hiding it....???

Depends. I would think the male because most of the men work while the women stay home. Men and women are always in the work field together so man is surrounded by a woman all day and being tempted all day, especially when they walk around with tight jeans with thongs, or short skirts.

Women whose husbands work all the time and spend no time with them will stray just to find some affection.

So I would say it varies on men and women and having an affair. Depends on the situation.

Your experience sums up the full male inhabitants? cheating has no gender. adult adult males cheat and that's a public element, women cheat too yet escape with it. The definition of cheating additionally concerns, strolling down the line with a female co-worker could be seen cheating by way of some women, lol.

Women will usually only cheat because they are very unhappy in a relationship, and then only if they feel trapped in the relationship. Most women will leave a relationship rather than cheat.

That's a tough question. You could say men, because they are more sexually driven. If they are not getting the sex they need, they will look elsewhere. On the other hand, you could say women, because they are more emotionally driven. If they are not getting the affection they need, they will look elsewhere. The key to not committing infedility is to meet each other's needs!
