Do you think he will come back?

So, I have asked this question many times because I still can't get over it. My BF left me to see if he could rekindle his ex's love. She came to him and asked him back. He said he still loves me but he needs to see where they will go. I told him I would wait for him and hope that if he doesn't work out, he will remember that we loved each other. He says he can't come back to me because he doesn't deserve me. They went out for 1 1/2 years and broke up several times during that time. Do you think they will work out? And if not, will he come back to me? I don't want to know if I should take him back or not, just if you think he will come back? And also, how long do you think it will take? It's been almost 3 weeks now.

Here is a better question: Why do you want to be second best? He left you because he still is hung up on someone else. If it doesn't work out he'll come back and be with you until someone else looks better? You are worth more than that! Do NOT wait for this guy. He's not worthy of you and he doesn't love you. Wait until you meet a guy who wants YOU first and foremost! That's the guy you are waiting for! Good luck.

Sometimes it depends on the relationship that the both of you had,and the type of guy that he may be. He may not feel comfortable taking you back knowing that he left you to be with the other woman. If he does come back it may be good in the beginning but he may have that doubt in his mind that you are going to hurt him for what he done to you. Sweetie it has already been 3 weeks and they would have known the first couple of days if it would have worked out after sitting down and talking. Let it go and move on with your life dont wait on him just know that he is going to miss a good thing. If i didnt work out in that year and a half it isnt going anywhere now. I wouldnt want him if he left me to rekindle a flame with another woman
