When a friend turns into something much more? Is the honesty too much to deny the heart behind it? Is god really love? or is love god?

Pirate I think that you are exactly right love =god, it's that simple.
We as man complicate what the message really is because we have to justify our own beliefs, so that we can lift our egos from the power that we obtain over others. When a man lays with a woman that he loves that is god(the marriage of man and woman, and love= god) To alter or change to fit to the moral concensus of man is to alter your vering being of loving thy fellow man. Pirate I have had so many reveal their souls to me. They say it's because I dont judge them no matter what they reveal. And why because I know that as being a man(or in my case a woman) I know that it would be very cavalier of me to think that no matter what horrible deed somone has done or suffered, it is quite possible that it could be me as well. When someone reveals their soul to me, I find it to be one of the most powerful and spiritual experiences. To be that vulunerable and naked with truth takes great strength for everyone, And when we remove our fear, we connect like pieces of a puzzle scattered across the universe.

God is love. Love is god? No, only because if you put things that way the word "love" becomes profaned, and no longer becomes Truth.
moved when a fellow human bAres his soul... yea, duh, Isn't everyone? What you do with that is the question. Do you profane it or do you handle it with kid gloves.
This question is the very essence of what keeps me within the bounds of my faith in Jesus Christ. When I was called upon to respond to a bare naked soul, I found myself responding in a way that seemed to be True and Loving but only later did I find was not! I found my attempts only enlightened me to my own defects. I have found that I just simply can't handle such a thing on my own. And yes that hurts so bad!!! and so tenderly I humble myself before God; I am blessed when He enables me to love a naked soul and to not cause it harm.

Usually I just tell them to suck it up and get back to work, (Though sometimes I do first ask if they've been drinking.), and I expect the same courtesy in return. Nobody really wants to deal with the embarrassment of "baring their naked soul" to another, so I find its best to just slap people straight, and keep them moving until they start thinking about more normal things.
Besides, most of the people who make a big show of baring their soul, are after something. Its a con, and not a very subtle or cunning one at that.

Spiritually moved ? No, as it turns out, I have met a lot of people who need lots of help and bare their souls l (bear is an animal) Usually, it means lots of time, work and can cost lots of money, if you try and help. It can use up all of your energy and your own life may become deficient.
Bared souls mean you have to consider carefully, how much can you actually do for the person.
But you are a good person for hearing the communication. Good luck in this . . .

I believe the best relationships are founded on friendship. Your friend chose to be open with you. As others have suggested, you now have a choice to make. How do you feel about this person? Do you share their sentiments? If so then the answer is obvious. If not then you must make another choice. Do you respect the friendship and share their revelation or do you politely avoid it. Should you choose the later you risk damaging your friendship. Follow your heart and do the right thing.

To humble oneself is not easy cause then it shows you are venerable..I humble because the Lord likes me that way,,I don't care what man thinks as long as God is happy..
