Decided to homeschoool my son, a 9th grader, this year. I've decided to do the "Ecclectic" curriculum but I need the Big Red Book for myself. And any other information.

i'm a homeschooled pupil in the present day in 10th grade and that i like it. I firmly believe that any homeschooled pupil with the right recommendations set and self discipline can attain a concepts previous the obstacles of psychological learning that public college might want to ever provide her. i might want to signify very strongly homeschooling her. she will be ready to flow at her personal %. meaning no previous due nights and a lot less seizures. also in case you stay in a city with a homeschool team, get her in that too. those communities are frequently more advantageous socially because it is extra centred and concentrated. you are able to also opt to attempt some community college classes in case you sense that you'll't provide her the guidance that she needs in some elements. solid success.

It's not free (unless the library has a copy) and it's not on-line, but I would suggest you read, "The Teenage Liberation Handbook" by Grace Llewellyn. She discusses the whys and hows of unschooling high school. The course of study she recommends can be free.

Best wishes!
