i want to know what my background is. i've from an area where there have been alot of different dynasties and coquerors. just curious that's all

you can research you geneology. Lots of free site to help you with that. For a small fee you can do a dna test that can tell you your genetic identity, but it will not let you know who your specific ancestors were, just their genetic origin.

There are companies out there who will take a sample of your DNA and do a genetic profile.

I heard somewhere that you can have you DNA tested in order to find out where your lineage came from (i.e. Norway, India, etc.). You might do a Google search for an answer, but I'm sure it's expensive.
