Perhaps more importantly, Jehovah's Witnesses understand the Scriptures to teach that God's Kingdom is a real government which will soon replace all earthly governments.
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite

That Kingdom will rule over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
(Acts 24:15) There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

Until that resurrection, there is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire

While a limitted number of humans will be resurrected to heaven to share in ruling over mankind, the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]

Interestingly, the Scriptures are full of references to this earthly hope.
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
(Revelation 21:3) The tent of God is with mankind

They try to put literal meaning to parables and take many simple statements in too broad of a context. As an example they are forbidden to have blood transfusions based on a verse that talks about not consuming (?) blood. I believe it's about not eating uncooked meat, a sensible precaution for obvious reasons. Overall they are the modern day Puritans or Amish with a little fanatic literalist thrown in. They are also not allowed to listen to any other religion than there own, so if you offer to tell them about your religion first, they should leave without much trouble. I've also heard they will not go up to a house that has obvious religious icons displayed such as statues of The Virgin Mary. (The Cross won't work).

Every single JW follower has given me a very good impression so far. They are always dignified, respectful, composed, kind, moral, but a little but too much on the proud side.

I believe every religion, just as long as it is not heretical and directs man to do evil, is good, providing that they benefit all mankind and don't go around expressing their bias views.

Back when Johnny Carson still had his show, he had both Jane Fonda and Charlton Heston on a program. Fonda spoke about how she, and many movie stars, hired only JWs to be maids, drivers, etc. because they couldn't be bought. After listening to her talk about JWs, Heston asked why, if she thought so much if them, didn't she become one? To this, she said that she could never have the kind of dedication to God and Christ like they do, and neither could he (Heston).

My view is...their beliefs say to preach the word and the best way to share their knowledge of what God says is what Isaiah 43:10-12 says.
Oh they some times are pushy, but that's because they are so excited in what they learn they want to share it to you. They make mistakes like everyone else.
They are your neighbors, next time they visit you ask them the whys of what they believe especially why do you go from door to door.
There humans like all of us.
Peace......

In my view Jehovah's Witnesses are generally good, hard-working people. I don't believe everything they teach, but I do know that they are deeply devoted to God. It's one of many things I admire about them.

Everyone is entitled to believe what ever they wish. I just don't want them showing up on my door step trying to shove their beliefs down my throat.

They feel they are spreading god's word when in all reality, most people are turned off by the message.

JWs are a non-Christian cult.

God never changes, but JWs have tried to claim opposite sides of the same issue over the years, and speak in contrast to God's Word.
