The first couple times kissing a person, but after that it's personal preference.

There are no 'hard and fast' rules regarding this matter. It is a matter of personal preference, how much you're getting into it, the intensity, etc. Let things flow naturally and don't sweat the small stuff--do whatever feels right at the moment as far as kissing w/your eyes closed or open. There may be times when it's cool either way.

When you close your eyes, the kiss becomes more passionate, and it is romantic. When you are looking at the person, it is like you are being rude, and the kiss is not a real one. The feelings behind the kiss are just fake. It seems unnatural to look at them, maybe just a glance is okay.

I think by closing your eyes, it makes the kiss more passionate, more romantic, sensual, and somehow, more meaningful. The only purpose I can see in keeping your eyes open, is to see if they are looking at you to see if your eyes are closed too.
