I really doubt it, most books would not be on line for free because of copyright infringement. maybe you could try one of the sights to down load hacked programs or google "freedowm of the hills free online version" something might come up, actually I tried, but that book is great you will spend hours looking at it and having it soak into your head so it is really worth the 30 dollars or whatever it costs to buy, plus the mountaineers is a good organization that does a lot for preservation of wilderness areas
