I know of an oil baron billionair with his finger on the button saying God bless America. But I don't know of a Fundamentalist Christian like that.
Like you, I do get the feeling that he is stopping at the borders. I wish he would read the Bible you think he believes so much in. It talks about being a blessing to the world.
Nothing wrong with God bless America - it's a nice prayer. But his actions do give the impression that it is America only.

You know darn well what the words mean "God bless the USA" It's a prayer for the protection and guidance of the Almighty God. You need to pay more attention in spelling class also spend a little time in Grammar because this question doesn't make sense.

Why can't someone say "God Bless the USA" and it mean what it says - The USA was built on God and His blessing are always needed - why read more into it than what it really is?

I do not understand what you are talking about. First a christian does not have his finger on the hell button. He say GOD bless The USA. What about if someone in England says GOD bless England? Would they have the same problem?
