Have u watched Fox news & their report on Russian girls? Hundreds of thousands of pretty Russian girls looking to marry Americans for the Green Card. Desprate lonely men fall in the trap. They make you believe they love you, they are good girls who want a husband , a family ,to have & raise kids. Fools go & marry them, bring them here, get them a G.Card, then they bail out. The foolish husband gets off easy ,if it ends here, but usually he gets arrested too cuz she fakes some bruses, scratches & some cuts to claim spousal abuse to sound crediable to the INS in leaving him. A friend of mine is going through this & i only feel sorry for him, but he has only himself to blame. You don't have to go far to find them. In my state of Virgina, we have many illegal Russian girls looking for a quick fix & marriage. I just met 3 last week end in a bar & it didn't take long for them to call me & say that they are in love with me & want marriage. SHOULD I BELIEVE THEM???!!! LOL. What do u think ?

Haha, it's only male in the absolute worst cases! ;)

Oh, and while am not particularily anti-illegal-immigrant I've always known about the sneaky Russian women.

It's a fact, and they don't limit themselves to Americans, but I think most of Europe have noticed that the warm relationship cools off significantly when the bride is safely on your native soil.

It is not my meaning to say that all Russian women are callous and manipulative. It is not that black and white.

The situation the Russian women would be in Russia isn't nothing to hurrah about, either, though it doesn't excuse for the systematic use of others in order to escape the existence in Russia.

Russian women choose their mates first and most importantly on how wealthy they are, and inadvertently when they age (after they use up their spouses money on liposuctions and the like to remain pretty) they are eventually dumped for younger, prettier versions of themselves.

Just as they are used in their home country, they are using the foreign males looking, misguidedly, for love in Russia.

Of course, there are no studies that validate my claims, no research done of this. I've observed it with my own eyes, and the issue has been touched by local tv documentaries here in Finland.

every story has two sides, dear.
you know, there are lots of stories in Russia too, but reversed. The girl is the one who gets to be abused. Many women in Russia are really looking for a husband. There are very few decent men in russia, esp for those in their 30s-40s!
If the girl leaves the guy after marriage, it means that she was really mistreated by him. Russian women are calm, submissive, they don't need a lot. There must be good reasons for her to leave, just try to walk in her shoes: she doesn't know the language and noone in the country, why would she leave the man who is kind to her?
In Russia we don't know the laws, the constitution, we are not very law obidient. It would take years to understand the way it works in the usa, trust me. So don't tell me about faking bruises, i won't believe that!
When i came to the usa, i had a cultural shock, all russian girls did. If i were a mail order bride, i would hold on to my man, i would not leave him, why would i? As long as he is not an a s s hole.
I am just trying to walk in her shoes now. I think the bruises were real.

there are girls who are that wild of course, but this is this man's fault if he picks a super hot girl, with fluent english, who can have anyone in her country.

Tell you the truth, I think one has to be REALLY desperate to order a bride, some girl he doesn't even love! Such guy usually needs someone like a slave, a housekeeper and treats the girl respectively. Well, they got what they deserve! No pity for such men.

I know a lady who was really looking for a man to have a family with, and when she came, he took her documents away and made her work in the fields. We know lots of stories like that in russia, i should make my own programme.
Trust me, there is 0.0001 percent of women like you are talking about.

I imagine the INS knows about it and is devoting as much manpower as possible, given our much greater border problems with Mexico. I imagine men fall for this for the same reason people with a large amount of money fall victim to golddiggers: They want to be fooled. They want to believe that they can get as lucky as to have a smoking hot girl just saunter into their lives, and that the only thing the woman wants in return is sex and/or love. What's the alternative? Giving in to the notion that you can't even find a decent girl by basically BUYING one? That's a shot to the ego that I wouldn't mind putting off until the day I die...

this is not a NEW thing and not just brides from russia. The Nigerian scams also work the love angle and are looking for green cards.
Just think this way. If it is on the net it is a scam

A fool and his money are soon parted.

If something looks too good to be true, it usually is.
