Most English teachers enjoy it if you take something totally mundane and turn it into an adventure, like washing the dishes or making a bed. Most of these assignments are to see how many details you can fit in. The more informative, the better.

I actually had to do this one time, and the topic I picked was how to make a peanut butter sandwich. It sounds simple, but it is quite fun to write and to read, since everyone sort of has their own way to make one. Also, with assignments like this, it's best to pick a topic the teacher might be more familiar with. For instance, she probably doesn't have any idea how to make a pillow, but if you choose something simple, she can see that you have all the right steps and procedures listed, and you will get a higher grade for being thorough in your explanation.

I had to do a speech like this and I chose to do it on "How to catch a fish" I also had to have visual aids so it worked out well. I simply explained all the steps from what kind of pole and reel to use, the difference between live bait and lures, how to cast, set the line, and reel it in. It was a smashing success, the teacher said that it was unique and I got an A+ on it.
While that may not work for you if you are not a fisherperson, the point is to pick something that you like to do and your enthusiasm will come through!

The best thing to do is to choose something you KNOW. If you you know how to make chocolate from a book, it may not be as good of a subject as something you do know about. Perhaps you've sewed something, or painted something, or created something a as a craft. At any rate, using a subject with which you have personal experience will make this a lot better for your finished product.

it means it has to be 3 quarters of a page (3/4) or 1 page long. It is also asking for 1 idea then you have to write in lots of detail about it. Double spaced means you basically leave a line between each line so press ctrl then 2 and it will put it into double spacing on your document.

Sangharaja -

the peoples king.
he is the focal point and 'community appointed' Ruler of the monastic sangha (monk group) of Buddhist monks (or nuns).

fancy way to say that hes a leader who was decided on by his community of monks, but who has no actual power, and every ones OK with that.
He offers Criticism, and the other monks are free to disagree with his decisions, and every ones OK with that! What a great system.

I really like "How Chocolate is Made." I don't know how it's made. That would be interesting!
