No. Their eternal destiny has already been decided. It was up to them while they were on the Earth.

In any faith you can try to intercede for someone who has passed on, but it won't help. It's to late when a person has died. Trust in Jesus, and know that He knows what was in the person's heart, and He knows if that person will be suitable for His Kingdom when the Resurrection comes. When a person dies, they sleep in the grave until the Resurrection. Hell is not a place of torment for endless ages, Hell will be eternally destroyed. God is Love!

No, Paul says to be absent from the body is to be present in the Lord. We need to be covered with the blood of the Lamb before we die, so we can stand before God in righteousness. Prayers won't help at that point.
Hope this helps you, be blessed

No, hun. Once one passes on, you just have to trust God, leave it in His hands and His judgment.

Why pray for the dead?
Pray for the living ones, that are dead to Christ.
