The Bible says to take Him into your heart and profess Him with your mouth. You would gain what you are supposed to, salvation.

The Lord will separate the wheat from the chaff, if we do things for the glory of man, it will all come out in the end, by doing it for Jesus, that will also be known, hence you gain greater rewards and blessings from above.

Well, since there is clearly some kind of contest that god is holding, or I wouldn't have so many christians trying to save my pagan as$ on a daily basis, I guess you would be that much closer to winning the contest.
