ok im writing a paper and i need to describe in words how a lot of people just dont get soccer and the people that understand and play it love it and its like the biggest high there is and all this other stuff but if you tell me what you think about soccer and what it means to you i can quote you inmy paper and maybe give you ten points if i like you answer the best.

Football can at times be the biggest high you think you can get but then it can also be the biggest low you have. Obviously this depends on if your team wins or loses.
It is kind of like a drug. You get addicted to it. I know that I wouldn't be able to go a while without football. The close season is the worst time of the year if there is no World Cup or European Championship. All you think about is the start of the season again or if your team will buy a player that will make them better.
I love football and when it is on I change from a mild mannered boy into a complete maniac. If my team win then I am ecstatic whereas if they lose I get upset and don't want to talk to anyone.

Soccer is one of the best sports. Some people it stupid because you just kick a ball in a net. That is not true. It takes skill and conditoning. It is full of indurance and the reason why many people don't care for the sport is because the soccer player don't constantly score goals (points) like in basketball or football (american).

Football is what your bought up on in England, it's the game you play from the moment you can barely walk. Some of the greatest thrills in life have been playing football and watching it, being their at Euro 96, seeing Gazza scored that goal against Scotland still brings a smile to my face. Someone asked Bill Shankly if football was as important as life and death, he replied no, it's more important. No other sport or event in life brings so much passion, to stand in a crowd of over 70,000 and 65,000 of them singing the national anthem. You can't experience it anywhere else. It brings people together when England play, at no other point do you see such patriotism and a feeling of joy and optimism.

You are so lucky to get to write a paper about that. I have hated every paper topic I have ever written about. Soccer is the best sport in the whole WORLD. Americans should be ashamed that they dont care for it. They are too into their football and baseball. UGH. You paper will be great.

I agree, most people don't understand soccer all that well unless they play it. I personally LOVE it. Its my life =]
The feelings and emotions are beyond words to me really. At the end of the game I just feel... ALIVE. Like refreshed from all the running and excitement. Just knowing that when a goal is scored by using teamwork and your mind to focus on your goal and that you got around other players is overwhelming for me =]

Soccer is the ultimate team sport. Everybody needs to be able to do thier part to be a winning team. It take strength, endurance, and intelligence. It's not tainted by by the media describing the stars on enhancing drugs, or showboating off the field.
For me, watching my boys play, and play their best, is the best part.

I love it specially the Argentine and Spanish Football/Soccer
In Argentina Football is not a Game its a Way of Life and I believe that they (the Argentine) carry it on their blood thats why they are so great at it ! Specially with players like Crespo ,Saviola, Messi,Teves, Ayala,Sorin,Heinze,Coloccini,Cambiaso,and Maxi

to start its one of the only sports where you can almost go any where in world and you can play with some one and they know what it is,the skill you have to have to play has to be some what good you can not use your hands only your feet,head & chest wean we all have a tendency to grab or catch thigs with our hands
its also one of the sports that has stop wars for some time in places like africa,colombia and some places in the mid east just to name a few,and the wolrd cup is one of the bigest evints of the world where countries can compite beside the olympics all in all its a grate sport and we all love futbol
