Well, i think it all depends on where you are truly. Im in NYC and it is expensive as h*ll. Child care runs per year, and also by the week. Per year, it can run from $16,000 to $22,000 and per week can run from $200-$600 depending on the area you are in and also the child care center itself.

......And to Krimla2000 whos talking about "there shouldnt be any child care at all. If you can't take care of a kid yourself, DON'T HAVE ONE"

FORTUNATELY, not every one on here is probably as rich as your stuck up a$$ - and a bigger wake up call - not everyone can afford to just sit on their a**ses 24/7 like you because they actually have to make a living for both themselves and their kids. Truth is, the majority of people work for a living, which means they are NOT at home (some work at home, dont get it twisted), and child care is there for that purpose. Don't judge what you know nothing about. Everyone's situation is different. Maybe if you were in their shoes, you wouldnt be so quick to talk sh*t.

It depends on where you live. I live in Mississippi and pay $151 for a 3 & 1 year old. But usually, a 2 year old will run anywhere from $50 - $100. Depends on how spify the daycare is too.

Good Luck & God Bless!

I am a stay at home mom as well! I watch a 10 year old during the week. I charge $20 a day plus she has to bring her own lunch and money for any field trip we go on! I would say for an infant $30 per day and a toddler $25 per day. I am assuming you are not licensed and since it is out of your home you can't ask for as much as the licensed facilities!

I live in NC near the mountains. The most I have heard from the childcare facilities here are $139 a week from a private school. The cheapest is $91 a week. These are 4 stars rating childcare facilities.

It varies here in WI. I have a friend that pays $279 for three days for two kids, that's over $1,100 a month!! I have checked where I live and it's still 200+ per week. For this reason, my husband and I flip flop shifts. He works days and I work part-time nights.
