what is the classification of metallic materials down to an engineering level, with the use of diagrams, :)?

can anyone help me with this question what is the classification of metallic matericals in engineering terms, and where can I get diagrams of these classifiations.

This is a HUGE subject, and normally you would have to buy a proper book to cover it all.
