I traveled from India to thailand with an Indian co-worker many times. He would only take an extra 10-20 minutes filling out the visa-on arrival card and waiting in line - while I went right to the immigration lines. If several Indian flights arrived at the same time, it will take 30+ minutes.

Much time seems to be wasted by Indian people who arrived the first time asking where to go to get the visa on arrival forms etc. If you can somehow get them ahead of time you will save some time.

Well better to take visa from India & travel as it is little more expensive to get visa on arrival as compared to India, also visa from thai embassey is not difficult to get at all.

hi sir, first of all i willl suggest u not to go to thailand specially when u r wid ur family, as all knows that wat kind of place is it ? and if still u want to go, then u can have on arrival visa in thailand. there is no such problem, however it will take some time(maximum 1 hour)/ but remember 1 thing, u shud have ECNR STAMP on ur passport as it is neccesary in case of thailand
