Well now that IS a question. LOVE is a strong word but what you are describing is sexual desire (falls quite a bit down on the love scale) If the youngman is respectable enough to NOT try and pressure the young lady into a sexual situation that says alot about his character(he's a good guy) and if he is talking about a future,that is a good sign(as long as he is not using it to press for sex IE: you know even if we do this I will still love you>") That is an old line which usually works.IF HE IS TRULY TALKING ABOUT A FUTURE THEN HE SHOULD BE TRULY WILLING TO WAIT AND THEN IF HE DOES WAIT AND YOU ARE best FRIENDS. Then my dear it is love.

If the guy only stays with a girl for the sex, then it isn't love...it is self-graticfication.
Love is about self-sacrifice and putting the other persons needs first. If you love someone, you will stick around and always be there for them. Just like God and true friends....if he loves you he will stick around.
A blunt answere, I can't say for absolute certain, but if he sticks around without sex....I would say that he probably cares about you a great deal. Love is something that takes time to develop, but if he is talking about a future....I would say that he cares. Otherwise he would probabaly walk away.

So she doesn't put out and he doesn't pout. What an interesting turn of events. Maybe this guy is actually maturing a little quicker than normal. If his financial background check comes back looking good then he may be a keeper.

Does he still love her? Sure! Why not? You don't want to coerce someone into sex. You want it to be right for them. Certainly if you care for/love them anyway. So if he loves her, but she isn't ready and he is willing to wait then he is doing the right thing.
