When my boyfriend would talk, I tuck away little mentions of his favorites. When it was his birthday I got him a bunch of his favorite things. That really impressed him that I had remembered that. Such his favorite candy bar, favorite sports team.

O.K. Tif. First of all, are you serious about this guy? How does he feel about you? Is the feeling mutual? A beautiful thing you can do for him is, if you want direct access to his heart, Buy him dinner. There is no way faster and foolproof than to ask a man to sit down with you to break bread on such an important occasion as is a man's b-day. Try and see if I'm in the right. Quicker access? Cook the dinner yourself.
