because instead of flying half way across the world to see their relatives, Chinese, European or Middle Eastern people can just go south of the border, where all illegals come from.

The products involved with illegal immigrants' work would cost a whole lot more, such as produce. Produce is already expensive and without them, this basic food would cost even more, so I'm not sure if whether it would really benefit Americans.
Also, if you can't get a job because Mexicans are "stealing" jobs from you, then there's something wrong with you.

Are you being intentionally ignorant? While Mexico is the largest source of illegal aliens in the United States, it's not the only source, either.
Illegal immigration is a big problem, a global problem even,
and there's a lot of people profiting by pushing people into our country 'under the wire'. More jail terms, more fines, and more prevention...

Most Chinese and Middle Eastern illegals cross the northern border, not the southern border. It is easier for Indians, Pakistanis, Chinese and some middle eastern countries to get into Canada due to them all having been British colonies and sharing easy visa regulations. (China wasn't a British colony but they have easy visa requirements.)
The southern border isn't the only, or even the greatest, threat to US security, it it just one of the possible routes.

Not all illegal aliens come from Mexico, so how could you send them all "BACK" to Mexico?
A majority are from or come through Mexico, but not ALL are FROM Mexico.
