Yes if you're 16. But as you grow older, this problem disappear. Seriously.

Cheers!

age should make no difference whatever when it comes to friendship or love or dating. If an older guy and younger girl want to go to a movie together or an older gal and younger guy want to share a meal there should be no obstacle.

That said, there are warnings.
First is parents who might think a 14 year old should not be dating yet or who believe that the 2 years difference is some big thing.
Second is the law of your area. Now I'll admit that laws deal mostly with sex, not dating. However there can be situations where specific laws apply (statutory rape) even if no sex occurs. So be mindful of what you get into so you don't wind up creating a lot of headaches for yourselves. You can check some of the laws on the website for your state as well as the site below:

It isn't really wrong to date a boy that is 2 years younger than you. You have to make sure he is mature. Don't try to make him do anything he doesn't want to do as far as sex go. I think you all should wait until you all learn what can happen if you end up getting pregnant.

I don't think so, I hope not anyway because I dated younger guys all my life, and my husband is younger than me now. In fact, both husbands were younger!

Skittles, although I would rather suggest that both of you are a bit too young for dating act now, I'm definitely NOT in support of this "love only your age-mate" syndrome. Personally, I believe the most paramount consideration for people in a relationship is LOVE. Please forget about any other thing, inasmuch as you're very sure that you love him and he loves you back - sincerely.

No. I know lots and lots of people who are married and in love, yet are years and years apart in age. My girlfriend is almost 2 years older than me as well. I have no problem wtih it. I mean, not every good partner is your age ;)

Only if sex is involved. Because he hasn't reached the Age Of Consent, and you could get in trouble with the law.
